Do I really need a rental car in Providenciales?
If you're staying at an all-inclusive and never leaving the property, maybe not. But if you want to see Chalk Sound, Sapodilla Bay, Taylor Bay, local restaurants, and beaches beyond your resort, a rental car is the best money you'll spend on your trip. The whole island is about 38 square miles, so most spots are 15 to 30 minutes away.
Which side of the road do you drive on?
In Turks and Caicos you drive on the left. Our fleet includes both left and right hand drive vehicles, so you can pick what feels comfortable. Take it easy at roundabouts and intersections for the first day and you'll be cruising like a local by day two.
Can I drive with my foreign driver's license?
Yes. Visitors can legally drive in Turks and Caicos with a valid license from their home country for the length of their vacation.
What do I need to rent a car?
A valid driver's license, a credit or debit card in the primary driver's name, and you need to be at least 25 years old. That's it.

What is your fuel policy?
Our vehicles take regular gasoline. You'll get the car with a set fuel level and just need to return it with the same amount. Refueling charges may apply if it comes back with less.
Can more than one person drive?
Yes. Additional drivers just need to be listed on the rental agreement and meet the same requirements.
Do I need a 4x4?
Most visitors are perfectly fine in a sedan or standard SUV. Some beach access roads and less developed areas are easier with a higher clearance SUV, so if off the beaten path is your plan, grab the Jeep.
What happens if I get a flat or break down?
Call our emergency assistance line and we'll arrange roadside support or a replacement vehicle whenever possible. That's what 24/7 roadside assistance means.
What should I do if I'm in an accident?
Call the police at 911 to report the accident and any injuries, then notify our office immediately. Take photos of the scene and damage, exchange information with other drivers, and don't authorize any repairs without our approval.
